Quick Overview

The lessons this quarter will begin with a review of the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  This is a season of joyful celebrations for Christians around the world. We will learn about this foundational premise of our faith. Then we will take a historical journey as we take a look at an important timeline in the life of the Nation of Israel, God’s chosen people.  After the release of Pharaoh and the crossing of the Red Sea, Moses had the awesome task to restructuring the lives of the Children of Israel.  Teens will learn about the organizational and leaderships skills of Moses. Next, we will discuss these Mosaic leadership skills learned and apply them to our lives today. There will be times in every believer’s life when we will have to face the audacious task of rebuilding our lives; from an old lifestyle to a new one. This rebuilding or restructuring in the life of our teens could be because of various reasons; graduating from middle school to high school, moving to a new address or moving to a new city. Going to a new school, moving to a new city and other similar situations can be very stressful. It is our hope that these lessons will provide a resource of encouragement for teens when they have to face the challenge of being in a new environment. Teachers are encouraged to be creative when presenting these lessons by using other teaching props, technology tools, and reference materials.
